An agent of record (AOR) is a third party that helps you compliantly classify, onboard, and pay contractors worldwide.
Every Some1-Else AOR agreement mandates a deposit equivalent to one month of a contractor’s compensation. As we have engaged the contractor, we are legally required to remunerate them regardless of whether a client settles their payment. Due to Some1-Else assuming all the liability and indemnification associated with a contractor, we request a month’s worth of the contractor's wages as security, along with a Some1-Else fee to reserve for emergencies.
Reach out to us, and we’ll collaborate to gain a clearer understanding of your hiring objectives and requirements to assess your eligibility for Some1-Else AOR. If it aligns with your team's needs:
(1) We will draft a Master Services Agreement between your organization and Some1-Else, along with a Scope of Work. Once both teams review and approve the contract, you are free to establish as many Contractor of Record agreements as necessary.
(2) Then, we’ll sign a standard agreement with the contractor you’re onboarding through Some1-Else AOR. After the contract is signed by both parties (Some1-Else and the contractor), we will proceed to complete onboarding the contractor.
(3) From there, we will take care of everything else. Payroll, invoicing, termination, and more will be managed by us, allowing you to explore the flexible talent pool effortlessly.
The setup duration depends on how long it takes your business to review and sign a Master Service Agreement. Once that is finalized, onboarding a contractor onto the platform typically takes up to 5 days.
Our experts will review the contractor’s location, job description, and work setup to determine Deel Contractor of Record eligibility. If the business relationship between your company and the contractor is not eligible for Deel Contractor of Record, we will suggest our available EOR solutions.
